Last updated: April 23, 2026
1. Introduction
RemindBux (“RemindBux,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a mobile service manager for HVAC professionals in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our website at remindbux.com (the “Site”) and our iOS and Android applications (together, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account and profile: Name, email address, phone number, business name, credentials, and preferences you submit when you register, subscribe, or contact support.
- Operational and customer data: Information you enter to run your business in the app — for example customer and property contacts, addresses, equipment makes and models, serial numbers, service history, job details, notes, photos, reminders, calendar entries, and messages or templates you create. This often includes personal information about homeowners and other third parties you service.
- Waitlist and marketing: Email or other contact details you provide to receive launch updates or product news.
- Support: Information you send when you email or message us, including attachments.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and app data: Device type, operating system, app version, approximate location derived from IP address (for security and compliance), crash logs, and diagnostic data to keep the Services reliable.
- Usage data: Features used, timestamps, and in-app events in aggregated or identifiable form, depending on configuration, to improve product quality and security.
2.3 Information from third parties
If you sign in with Apple, Google, or another provider, we receive profile information they share with us under their terms. We may also receive limited data from app stores or payment processors to validate subscriptions.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Services (including sync, backup, and support);
- Process subscriptions, authentication, and account administration;
- Send transactional messages (e.g., receipts, security alerts, service changes);
- Send marketing about RemindBux where permitted, and honor your opt-out choices;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues;
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests;
- Analyze usage in de-identified or aggregated form to improve the product experience.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your operational customer book or homeowner data to train generalized public AI models for unrelated products. If we ever offer optional features that use your data in new ways, we will describe them clearly and, where required, obtain appropriate consent.
4. How we share information
We may share information only as follows:
- Service providers: Vetted vendors who host data, provide email or analytics, process payments, or help us operate the Services, bound by contractual confidentiality and data-processing obligations.
- Legal and safety: When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of RemindBux, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice where required.
- With your direction: When you ask us to share information or enable an integration (for example, sharing a customer portal link you generate).
5. U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, state laws (including California’s Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and similar laws in Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and other states) may grant you rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. We honor applicable rights requests as required by law.
California residents: You may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion (subject to exceptions), to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests where permitted by law; we may verify your identity before responding.
To exercise privacy rights, email privacy@remindbux.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and describe your request. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion. You may request deletion of your account data as described in Section 5, subject to lawful retention needs.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure; you use the Services at your own risk and should protect your devices and credentials.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us at privacy@remindbux.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International users
RemindBux is intended for users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that data may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
10. The marketing website
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies only as needed to operate the site (for example, security, preferences, or basic analytics we describe in our cookie banner or settings if we add one). We do not run third-party advertising pixels on the Site unless we update this policy and provide appropriate notice.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on the Site and change the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice as required by law (for example, email or in-app message).
